A keyword rank tracker for the city or country you actually sell in
Name the place, pick desktop or mobile, and TaskGlaze re-checks your Google position on a schedule — keeping every check, so you read a trend instead of one number.
- Google results checked for every keyword
- Top 50
- re-checks on Starter, Pro and Agency
- Every 3 days
- cities and countries, never location codes
- By name
Where Rank Tracker fits
Each step hands its output straight to the next — no exports, no second tool.
Checking your own rankings in a browser tells you almost nothing. Google personalises what you see, localises it to wherever you're sitting, and gives you exactly one reading. A position is only worth something as a series.
TaskGlaze re-checks each keyword you track against Google's top 50, from the country or city you named, and stores every check. Each keyword carries where it ranks now, where it ranked last time, the best it has ever reached, the URL that ranked and a target you set. Six weeks of that tells you whether the page you rewrote worked, whether the links you built moved anything, and which keywords are quietly sliding.
Rank Tracker, step by step
Add the keywords
Type one in, or import a whole list by CSV. The import opens an editable preview before anything is saved — fix a typo, change a location, set a target position or drop a row — and duplicates inside the file are flagged instead of tracked twice.
Name the place, not a code
Pick a country or city by name from a search box, or write it as plain text in the CSV — Austin, "Austin, TX", United Kingdom. Ambiguous places get did-you-mean suggestions. Each keyword is tracked on desktop or mobile.
Let the schedule run
Starter, Pro and Agency re-check every tracked keyword every three days, the lifetime plan every six, and the free trial once a week. Each run adds a history row instead of overwriting the last, and on Starter, Pro and Agency the finished scan emails you who went up, who went down and the biggest movers.
Read the trend
The Ranking Trend chart plots your average position against how many keywords sit in the Top 3 and Top 10 over a month, three months, six months or a year. Filter to what improved or declined since the last check, and open any keyword for its full history.
What's included in Rank Tracker
Locations by name
Countries and cities are chosen by name, and CSV imports resolve free-text places — including US states and "City, State" forms. No location-code lookup table.
Desktop and mobile tracked apart
The same keyword can run on both, because they're often different results. Each is its own row with its own position and history.
Current, previous, best and target
Every keyword shows where it ranks now, last check, its best ever and the URL Google returned. Set a target inline and the row shows how far off you are.
More saved keywords than scan slots
Saved and actively tracked keywords are separate limits. Keep a large library, choose which are scanned, and pause the rest without losing their history.
Who outranked you, per keyword
Every check records the domains above you for that exact term. One click pulls that competitor's backlinks — for the page that beat you or their whole domain.
Export what you're looking at
CSV with keyword, location, device, current and previous position, change, best, target, ranking URL and last-checked date.
What it doesn't do
Worth knowing before you sign up.
- It reads the top 50 Google results. Below that a keyword shows as not ranking, never a guessed position.
- Checks run on your plan's schedule, not on demand — every three days at best, weekly on the trial.
- Google only. There's no Bing or other search engine tracking.
Rank Tracker: common questions

Every three days on Starter, Pro and Agency, and every six days on the lifetime plan. During the 14-day free trial it runs once a week. The checks run on their own schedule, and each one is kept as history instead of replacing the previous reading.
The top 50 Google results for the keyword, location and device you set. If you aren't in the top 50, TaskGlaze says so rather than inventing a position, and the first check where you do appear is recorded as a genuine gain.
Yes. CSV import shows an editable preview of every row before anything is saved. Locations are written as ordinary place names, ambiguous ones get did-you-mean suggestions, duplicates are caught, and you can set a target position per row.
Nothing is deleted. Canceling stops future scans while every keyword and its history stays. A downgrade that lowers your actively tracked allowance pauses the newest tracked keywords until you're under it, and tells you. Upgrading never auto-resumes anything — you choose what comes back on.
No. Keyword research is how you decide which terms are worth going after. The rank tracker follows the ones you've committed to, checked over and over. Most people use both: research to choose, tracking to find out whether the choice paid off.
