Pull a competitor's backlinks and filter them

One click from a competitor into their real backlink profile — then narrow it down to the links actually worth chasing.

Once you've found a competitor (see "Find who outranks you"), the next step is seeing exactly who links to them — and which of those links are realistic for you to go get too.

Starting a scan

From a competitor row, use Analyze this competitor's backlinks (per keyword) or Analyze this domain's backlinks (from the Competitors tab). Either opens an Analyze backlinks dialog where you choose the scope — the whole domain, or just the exact page that's outranking you — then confirm with Analyze. This is the step that spends one of your trial's backlink scans; a trial includes 5 scans and a lifetime budget of 3,000 backlink rows pulled across all of them.

Filtering the results

Results land on the Backlinks page (/backlinks) as a full table — source page, anchor text, target, and per-link signals. You can narrow it down with:

  • Dofollow / Nofollow — a three-way filter (all, dofollow only, nofollow only).
  • Min WA — a slider for minimum Website Authority (0–100), to cut out low-authority sources.
  • Hide spammy — hides sites flagged with a high spam score.
  • Status — new or lost, useful for re-checking a domain over time.
  • A domain search box, plus sortable columns for WA, spam score and first-seen date.

Re-opening a domain you've already scanned

If you analyze the same domain again later, TaskGlaze reuses the saved session instead of spending another scan — you'll see it labeled as free when that happens, so re-checking a domain you've already pulled doesn't quietly eat into your remaining scans.

Turning results into prospects

Filtering isn't the end goal — it's how you cut a few hundred backlinks down to the handful worth reaching out to. Select the rows that pass your filters and move them into your outreach CRM; that step is covered next in "Save a prospect and find a verified email."
